I mean…come on! The Redskins have done everything imaginable to get people to buy the over-priced, club-level tickets. Now they unveiled their latest trick as reported by the DC City Paper:
Washington Redskins Premium Club Members and Suite Holders have an opportunity to purchase advance tickets for the concert before they go on sale to the general public. [Redskins.com]
For the U2 and Real Madrid events, you simply had to be a season ticket holder or on the waiting list. It makes sense though. Paul McCartney fans are older/wealthier and can afford the hefty club-level ticket prices.
I realize this may be a stretch, but too many little annoyances are adding up. Why can’t fans in the lower/upper levels that have funded the burgundy and gold cash machine have access to the pre-sale?
Tack on all the parking/tailgating “changes” from earlier, and I’m very close to running out of patience. I feel like I could write an entire article on the parking saga. I read that the Redskins parking prices were astronomically more expensive than other teams around the league. I guess that makes sense though since they’d get crucified in the media if they raised ticket prices. Gotta get creative to make that scratch!!!
